16-year-old PUBG addict boy fakes his own kidnapping, traced by police

A 16-year-old boy from Hyderabad who was addicted to the popular video game PUBG faked his own kidnapping after his mother snatched his phone to make him focus on studies. The boy left to meet a friend on Oct 11 and then called his parents from a stranger's phone asking them for a ransom of Rs. 3 lakh with a changed voice. The police traced him after he booked a ticket to his maternal grandparents' place and picked him from a bus stop.
