Indian man pleads guilty to involvement in misappropriation of gas oil worth millions in Singapore

A 40-year-old Indian man identified as Sadagopan Premnath confessed that he was involved in the misappropriation of $36.1 million worth of gas oil at a multinational refinery in Singapore. The accused committed the crime while working at the Royal-Dutch Shell Eastern Petroleum located on Pulau Bukom island in 2017-18. Several other employees at the refinery were involved in the crime. Premnath got $150,000 for the crime.
