Kolkata Police arrest 22 for running fake call centre, posing as Amazon employees

As many as 22 people were arrested by a team of Kolkata Police's Detective Department for running a fake call centre. The accused posed as Amazon employees to cheat several people. "Initial probe revealed that conversations were made by the accused over Voice Over Internet Protocol communication system, introducing themselves as employees of Amazon," a cop said. The police raided the call centre late Tuesday night.
