Majority of terrorist attacks in 2007 took place in 5 Asian countries

According to a recent US report, 59% of the terrorist attacks in 2017 happened in five Asian countries- Pakistan, Afghanistan, India, Iraq and Philippines. However, the total number of terrorist attacks and the number of deaths due to this have been decreased significantly. The terrorist landscape still remains complex as ISIS, Al-Qaida and their branches have proven to be stubborn and flexible, the report says.
