Man who attacked several people with knife in Paris charged with "attempted terrorist murders"

Zaheer Hassan Mehmood, the 25-year-old man who launched a knife attack in Paris, leaving 2 people wounded, has been charged with "attempted murder with relation to a terrorist enterprise". Mehmood admitted that he launched the attack to take revenge for the caricatures of Prophet Mohammed by the satirical weekly Charlie Hebdo. The Pakistani man has also been charged for lying to the court about his identity.
