Michael Sanchez, Jeff Bezos' girlfriend's brother was accused of hiding ownership of the property to avoid legal fees

In a court filing on Thursday, Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos claimed that his girlfriend's brother sought to avoid paying his legal expenses by concealing his ownership of a $2.5 million home. Michael Sanchez sued Bezos and his security head, Gavin de Becker, for slander, but was unsuccessful. Legal expenses of $254,404 were ordered to be reimbursed by Sanchez. Sanchez set up a limited liability company to own his California home.
