Days before her three-year-old daughter was discovered dead, a mother and her boyfriend texted each other about killing her. On August 9, 2017, Kaylee-Jayde Priest, three, was discovered dead in the flat she shared with her mother, Nicola Priest. At Birmingham crown court, Priest, 23, and her partner, Callum Redfern, 22, were found guilty of manslaughter. The texts presented a clear picture of the couple's "uncaring attitude toward Kaylee."
