The Cyber Crime wing of Bengaluru Police has arrested a person for creating a fake Facebook account in name of Bengaluru City Police. Sandeep Patil, Joint Commissioner of Police, Crime, Bengaluru Police said the person "put up a FAKE Facebook account in name of BENGALURU CITY POLICE." The Cyber Crime Wing of the Bengaluru police has increased actions against fake profiles after violence broke out in the city over a Facebook post.
