Danish intelligence agency PET's operations chief Flemming Dryer revealed that a series of arrests in Germany and Denmark helped the security agencies in thwarting a possible Islamist attack. Dryer further revealed that components and chemicals required to make explosives and firearms were recovered in the raids. "Our security services once again prevented an Islamist terror attack," German Interior Minister Horst Seehofer said.
