Six arrested with 1,525 kg of explosives, 6,000 detonators in Meghalaya

Meghalaya police arrested six people with as much as 1,525 kg of explosives 5,000 detonators and eight rolls of fuse in East Jaintia Hills district. The arrests were made after the police received a tip-off about the possible movement of explosives. Assistant Inspector General of Police GK Iangrai said the police found ten cartons with 250 kg of explosives, 1,000 live detonators and eight rolls of fuse inside an SUV.
