Srilankan national held by NIA in connection with Vizhinjam Arms case

A Sri Lankan national named Arasaratinam Ramesh alias A Ramesh, has been held by the National Intelligence Agency in connection with the Vizhinjam Arms case. The 37-year-old accused was residing on rented premises in Kerala`s Ernakulam district. He was produced before the Special NIA Court in Ernakulam on Wednesday and sent to judicial custody. The case involves the recovery of 5 AK-47 Rifles and a huge quantity of narcotics drugs.
