Violence grips Karachi hospital after death of COVID-19 patient

The Civil Hospital of Karachi was ransacked by dozens of people who took the law into their own hands vandalizing the facility. They attacked the doctors on duty, allegedly due to a delayed handing over of a Covid-19 patient’s body. The patient was admitted to the hospital on late Friday but died while being treated. Samples taken from the body also tested positive but the patient party claimed the report was wrong.
