"Want to be divorced before he is hanged": Nirbhaya convict's wife to court

The wife of Akshay Kumar Singh, one of the four convicts in the 2012 Nirbhaya gangrape murder case, has filed a plea seeking divorce from him, in a local court in Bihar's Aurangabad. In the plea, the wife of convict Akshay has said she does not want to live the life of a widow as her husband is set to be hanged on March 20. The court will hear the matter on March 19. Akshay's wife Punita also said her husband is innocent.
