Security forces shot dead Kashmir’s most-wanted terrorist and top Hizbul Mujahideen commander Riyaz Naikoo during an encounter at his native village in Beigpora area in South Kashmir’s Awantipora after a massive search operation late Tuesday night. The operation is being conducted by J&K police, 55 Rashtriya Rifles and CRPF. Riyaz Naikoo, 35, is among the oldest surviving members of Hizbul and has Rs 12 lakh bounty on his head.
