A Bengaluru-based software engineer was duped by a woman he met on an online dating app. The woman who introduced herself as Swetha asked him to pay Rs 2,000 through a digital wallet to a number that belonged to her friend Nikitha. Later, Nikitha video called the man and recorded the call when the techie was posing naked. The crooks then threatened to post the video online and managed to extort Rs 16 lakh from him.
