130,000 samples tested for coronavirus so far, 5,734 tested positive: ICMR

The Indian Council of Medical Research informed the media in its press conference that as many as 130,000 samples have been tested for the novel coronavirus by the government so far, put of which, 5,734 have tested positive for the disease. ICMR said the positivity rate ranges between 3 to 5 per cent in the last 1 to 1.5 months. 13,143 samples were tested yesterday. The spread rate of the outbreak has not increased substantially.
