16 Rafale jets to land in India by April, Safran proposes to make engine in India

In a major boost for India's defences amid the ongoing tensions with China, 16 Omni-role Rafale jet fighters will be inducted into the Golden Arrows squadron by April 2021. Three jets will arrive in January, another three in March and seven in April, taking the total strength of the advanced jets to 21. The Golden Arrows squadron will be complete by April next year.
