18.3C, Antarctica logs hottest temperature

With global warming affecting more every year, Antarctica has recorded its hottest temperature, 18.3C. The new reading has beaten its previous high 17.5C, March 2015. Antarctica’s peninsula is one of the fastest-warming places on earth and the heat here has increased by 3C in the last 50 years. The new reading is proof of that and with the rapid climate change, scientists are looking for a new record even sooner.
