The lockdown in Australia has helped the authorities in curbing the spread of coronavirus almost completely. It's already been 28 days since Victoria, which was once a Covid19 hotspot, recorded its last coronavirus case. The state currently has zero cases of Covid19 after the last COVID-19 patient was discharged from the hospital this week. The state was under a strict lockdown for more than 100 days.
