36 Tablighi Jamaat members accused of violating Covid guidelines acquitted by Delhi Court

36 foreigners, who were chargesheeted for attending Tablighi Jamaat congregation at Nizamuddin Markaz in Delhi, were acquitted by Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Arun Kumar Garg on Tuesday. The Tablighi Jamaat members from 14 different countries were accused of allegedly violating visa norms, violating Covid19 guidelines issued by the government, taking part in missionary activities illegally and several other charges.
