4 killed, over 20 injured in West Bengal after temple wall collapses during Janmashtami celebration

At least two people died and more than 20 were injured after a wall at Loknath temple in Kachua, Swarupnagar collapsed on people who had gathered to celebrate Janmashtami festival. Injured have been rushed to the National Medical College and Hospital. Meanwhile, CM Mamata Banerjee visited the Hospital to meet injured and announced an ex-gratia of Rs 5 lakh to the kin of the dead and ₹1 lakh to the grievously injured.
