40,000-year-old giant severed wolf head found in Siberia

A giant wolf head preserved believed to be 40,000 years old has been unearthed in Siberia’s frozen wilderness. The severed head, discovered along the shores of Tirekhtyakh River in the Russian Republic of Sakha, measures about 16 inches in length, making it different from any existing wolf specimen have been studied till now. Paleontologists are now studying the wolf head believed to be from an adult wolf 2-3 years old.
