Bad news for RBI after SC sets aside its circular on stressed assets

Though the power, sugar, shipping, and other firms are relaxed, RBI is not happy with the Supreme Court's verdict on it's circular on stressed assets as it has set aside it's February 12, 2018 circular on Tuesday. In its circular, the central bank stated that if the company fails to pay the debt, the banks will either execute a resolution plan for big stressed accounts or file insolvency petitions against them in the NCLT.
