Ahmedabad school asks students to write postcards supporting CAA, apologises after parents' protest

A PRIVATE school in Ahmedabad asked its students, from Classes V to X, to write a message on postcards to Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday to show their support to the Citizenship Amendment Act. The message read: "Congratulations. I, citizen of India, congratulate honourable PM Shri Narendra Modi for CAA. I support this act.” However, the school called it a "misunderstanding" and apologised after the protest of parents.
