All India Bank Strike to be held on October 22

Banking services may face disturbances on October 22 due to the all-India bank strike. SBI said that the impact will be minimum as most employees do not belong to the participating unions behind this strike. Syndicate Bank has said that they are taking necessary steps for smooth functioning on that day. All India Bank Employees Associations called for the strike to protest against bank mergers and falling deposit rates.
