Andhra police rescue 4,257 street children across the state

In a commendable act, Andhra Pradesh police rescued 4,257 children from all over the state. The police carried out 'Operation Muskan' to rescue children on the streets and orphans. The children who were sent to work by parents were also rescued. "It is not correct to use children as laborers even if parents have financial burdens," District SP Raveendranath Babu said while adding that they will be sent to government-run homes.
