The Centre told the Supreme Court in an affidavit that was filed late Tuesday evening that it has appointed 84 members to various tribunals since 2020. The centre said this after getting rapped by the apex court for its failure in filling vacancies in tribunals. The Centre told the top court that no recommendations are pending with it anymore. The government said it has cleared 38 names for different tribunals.
