Armed drone flying over US embassy in Baghdad shot down by US forces

An armed drone flying over the US embassy in Baghdad was shot down by US forces on Monday night. This was hours after a rocket attack on a base housing US soldiers in the west of Iraq. American defence systems were quick to spot the drone and fire at it. According to the Iraqi forces, the drone was laden with explosives. US assets and interests have sustained over 47 attacks since the starting of this year.
