PM CARES fund donations will now be eligible for tax rebates for 2019-20

As per an ordinance passed by the centre, PM CARES fund donations will now be eligible for tax rebates for 2019-20. Some other points like an extension of the deadline to file ITR and Aadhaar linking with PAN card were called out by Union finance minister Nirmala Sitharaman. This is mainly because of the novel coronavirus outbreak which can be declared as a pandemic. India has also started a 21 days lockdown as a preventive measure.
