Asian horned frogs discovered in Nagaland and Manipur

After an extensive research of 14 years, a team of scientists have discovered three new species of horned frogs of the genus Megophrys or Asian Horned Frogs in Nagaland and Manipur. These frogs have elongated upper eyebrows this is why they are called Asian Horned Frogs. This comes days after scientists found a green-coloured nonvenomous snake from Arunachal Pradesh that was named after Salazar Slytherin.
