Assam Police gun down two ULB militants in encounter in Kokrajhar district

The Assam police gunned down two militants of the newly floated United Liberation of Bodoland group in an encounter in Kokrajhar district in the wee hours of Saturday. A fierce gunbattle broke out between the police and the militants at Ultapani reserve forest area. The police also busted a camp of the militants and recovered a huge cache of arms, ammunition. The operation was launched on the basis of intelligence information.
