The Enforcement Directorate took to Twitter to inform that it has attached assets worth Rs. 18,170.02 crore belonging to Vijay Mallya, Nirav Modi and Mehul Choksi in connection with the bank fraud cases under the PMLA. The agency further said it transferred assets worth Rs. 9,371 crore to state-run banks and the central government. Banks in the country were cheated of Rs. 22,586 crore by the three fugitives.
