Astronomers detect first planet outside Milky Way galaxy

In a major success, astronomers have detected a planet outside the entire stretch of the Milky Way Galaxy. This is the first such discovery when a planet has been detected beyond the Milky Way galaxy. Before detecting the planet, as many as 4000 exo-planets have been detected by the astronomers. Some of these exoplanets are like earth and Jupiter. Most of these exo-planets are within the realm of the Milky Way.
