Australia to get first batch of AstraZeneca COVID vaccine in January 2021, says PM Morrison

Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison has said that his country will receive the first doses of an AstraZeneca and Oxford University Covid-19 vaccine in January 2021 if trials prove successful. Australia has signed the agreement to purchase a second potential vaccine. According to government sources, Australia signed a preliminary agreement with AstraZeneca in August for 26 million doses of the vaccine.
