Beirut sets new Guinness World Record for raising 26,852 Lebanese flags for 24 hrs

Beirut, the capital of Lebanon has set a new record by raising the most number of country flags for 24 hours. The Beirut Alive Association in the national capital raised a total of 26,852 Lebanese flags on Sunday to break New York's Waterloo record of 25,599 flags for 24 hours. After the record was set MP Rola Tabsh congratulated the Association for the record and said the act has proved no other flag will ever be raised.
