Bengal TMC leader under scanner for allegedly making fake job cards for Bangladeshis under MNREGA

Samsul Arfin, the upa-pradhan from Bengal’s Murshidabad district has been accused of making fake job cards for Bangladeshis. The authorities are now investigating Arfin's role in the misappropriation of government funds. As per the reports, over Rs. 7 lakh was collected for beneficiaries of rural employment schemes under the Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act 2005 and a part of it went to Bangladeshis.
