Bombay High Court directs Maharashtra government against arrest of Param Bir Singh, case adjourned till Monday

The Maharashtra government has been stopped from arresting former Mumbai police commissioner Param Bir Singh by the Bombay High Court. This was in connection with a case registered against Singh on the basis of a complaint by an Akola cop. A vacation bench of Justices SJ Kathawalla and SP Tavade adjourned the case till Monday. An FIR has been registered against Singh under the SC/ST Act and other offences.
