Brazil suspends $324 million Covaxin deal with India amid allegations of irregularities on Bolsonaro

As Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro faces heat over the allegations of irregularities in the import of Bharat Biotech's Covaxin from India, the country's health ministry has announced the suspension of a $324 million contract with the Indian firm for the delivery of the vaccine. The suspension of the contract was announced by Marcelo Queiroga. Queiroga said the allegations will be probed by his team.
