The world is moving swiftly towards developing an effective vaccine to fight the coronavirus pandemic. Brazil and Turkey are likely to move ahead with the phase 3 clinical trials of Russia's Sputnik V vaccine. An agreement has been signed by the Brazilian state of Bahia to undertake the trials of Russia’s Sputnik V vaccine. The country will receive 500 doses of the vaccine candidate after getting a nod from its health regulator.
