Brazil's Christ the Redeemer statue highlights virus hunger

Fruit and vegetables were projected onto Rio de Janeiro's historic Christ the Redeemer statue on May 10, to raise awareness on hunger in the South American country in the wake of the economic disaster due to the coronavirus pandemic. The campaign was launched under #MesaSemFome (#TableWithoutHunger). It collects food and hygiene products as donations and then delivers them to those who are socially vulnerable.
