Baraats usually arrive late at the wedding venue, which is common. However, this bride refused to marry the groom as the baraatis arrived late at the venue to his own wedding. The bride refused to marry the 'late' groom and married a local youth from her neighbourhood instead. The groom faced the wrath of bride's family as he along with other baraatis was allegedly locked and beaten up by the bride's family.
