British national who was given HIV antiretroviral drugs to treat Covid-19 now tests negative

A British national was treated with anti-HIV drugs for his Coronavirus infection & his latest test results have shown him negative for the coronavirus. The patient reacted well to the antiretroviral combination of drugs. This is the 1st time anti-HIV drugs was used to treat Covid-19 in Kerala. Doctors said the treatment was effective in the patient & the drugs were given for 7 days. They did a 2nd test which was also negative.
