Businessman burns Rs 5 cr to avoid paying his ex-wife the divorce settlement

The divorce case of Canada couple took unexpected turn after a businessman from Canada, Bruce McConville, burned 1 million Canadian dollars (Rs 5 crore, approx) in cash to avoid paying child support to his wife as part of the divorce settlement. He told the court that he made 25 separate withdrawals from six bank accounts and burned the cash in two separate bonfires. He was sent to jail for a month for the same.
