CAG pulls up Dassault for not transferring technology to DRDO as per the offset deal

The Comptroller and Auditor General of India pulled up France's Dassault Aviation and the Defence Ministry for not meeting the obligations as per the offset Deal. As per the offset deal policy, a certain percentage of the deal value with foreign firms should flow into India as foreign direct investment or FDI. This included technology transfer to DRDO and manufacturing of advanced components locally in India.
