Canada joins Coalition on Disaster Resilient Infrastructure launched by India in 2019

The Coalition on Disaster Resilient Infrastructure, an initiative that was launched by India in 2019, has now been joined by Canada. The initiative was launched by PM Narendra Modi at the UN Climate Action Summit in New York. The international coalition now has 22 countries, 4 international partners and 2 private sector organisations. Canada was invited to join the coalition by India’s external affairs minister S Jaishankar.
