CDS General Bipin Rawat to visit Leh today after defence minister Rajnath Singh's visit gets deferred

After defence minister Rajnath Singh's visit to Leh got deferred amid the standoff with China, Chief of Defence Staff General Bipin Rawat is scheduled to visit the base today along with Northern Army Command officials and 14 Corps officials, to take a stock of the situations. Indian Army has deployed Special Forces unit in forward areas along the Line of Actual Control to match Chinese deployment.
