The central government has allowed the states and Union Territories to transport essential and non-essential commodities during the 21-day COVID-19 lockdown. Right from the delivery of newspapers or milk collection and distribution or even supply of groceries are permitted by the Union Home Secretary Ajay Bhalla. State Disaster Response Force will also distribute food and essentials to homeless people and migrant labourers
