Centre knocks Supreme Court's door against show cause notice of contempt

The Central government today moved the Supreme Court against show cause notice of contempt to it by the Delhi high court over the shortage of oxygen supply to the hospitals in the capital. The Delhi High Court had issued a show-cause notice to the Centre over the “non-compliance” of the Supreme Court’s order from May 2. The High Court had slammed the central government for failing to boost oxygen supply amid a surge in Covid cases.
