China accused of covering up Coronavirus as virologist flees Hong Kong over fear of life

Dr. Li-Meng Yan, a virologist and an immunologist at the Hong Kong School of Public Health, has fled from Hong Kong fearing for her life after she exposed the Chinese government for covering up the coronavirus crisis. Yan claims the Chinese government knew about the novel coronavirus well before it claimed it did. She has also accused her supervisors of ignoring the research that she was doing at the starting of the pandemic.
