China comes up with 3 villages near Arunachal Pradesh, villages 5 kilometres from Bum La pass

Amid the ongoing standoff between India and China, three Chinese villages have come up nearly 5 kilometers from the Bum La pass which lies close to the tri-junction between India, China and Bhutan. The tri-junction is located in western Arunachal Pradesh. China-watcher Dr. Brahma Chellaney says "China has been using a strategy of settling Han Chinese and Tibetan members of the Communist Party along the India border."
